About Harbinger
Our family team is dedicated to producing superior Miniature Schnauzers, and we have a multi-generational approach to achieving this goal. Our mission is to not only produce outstanding dogs, but also to promote the health, research, education, and improvement of the Miniature Schnauzer breed for future generations.
My name is John and along with my son Jadon and wife Jennifer, we started with our first Miniature Schnauzer in 2005. Since that time we have been caring for, raising and training mini’s. Our first mini was JAS and he was from the Blythewood line. Even though JAS was from Championship lines, we opted to not Champion him at that time. We wanted his pedigree for the look, structure and temperament of a Miniature Schnauzer Champion. Little did we know when we got him, that this breed would become a long-term endeavor. When JAS passed in 2019 we had grown to a miniature schnauzer family of 4 and gained experience in breeding.
We ventured into the AKC Confirmation sport when JAS passed and we went in search of a “show dog” replacement. The Blythewood breeder didn’t have any availability so we started searching pedigrees. What we found was that JAS’ lines traced back through several other well respected breeders and we located one in Atlanta and we obtained JAX. JAX was 10 weeks old when he came to us, and OH NO. Jadon asked to get into AKC confirmation with him.
Jadon and I extensively studied handling, show grooming, conditioning and all the other things that go along with AKC confirmation.
We operate out of Central Alabama and are fully immersed in every aspect of our operation. We are intent on introducing the CH miniature schnauzer to the people of Alabama and neighboring States. Our dogs are not merely breeding animals , but cherished members of our family, living with us inside our home.

Our Impact
We believe that a well-bred Mini can have multiple personalities and know when and how to use ALL OF THEM. Our dogs are living examples of the Miniature Schnauzer being an elite canine that can be used for home alert, sport and/or obedience but also has the brains to be great with family, children and elderly.
